In this tutorial you’ll learn how to use insomnia (either locally or on the cloud) to test API endpoints. We’ll use easy to use API examples which will allow us to examine the JSON data from each API GET and POST request. I’ll teach you how to GET data from an API (we’ll use beginner friendly APIs that don’t require authentication) and I’ll also teach you how to use the POST function in order to send data to a database.

Insomnia is a great tool for developers and no code developers looking for an free API testing tool which will allow them to work with their APIs.

Insomniac Games recently suffered a massive ransomware attack from hackers that have stolen over 1TB of data from their upcoming and unannounced games like Marvel’s Wolverine, a new Venom Game, Xmen Games, a New Ratchet & Clank, and Spider-Man 3 set to release not only on the PlayStation 5, but also on the PS5 Pro, PS6, and PC. All these games have release windows set starting in 2025 and the licensing agreements from Marvel were also included in the leaks. Among the leaks was several minutes of Wolverine Gameplay and Cutscenes, key story details, the cast, game locations, and tons more info than what we saw in the Marvel’s Wolverine PS5 Reveal trailer. On top of all this we got key insight into how Sony is planning to combat the Xbox Series X & Xbox Game Pass given Microsoft’s recent acquisition of Activision.

Insomnia and depression are very closely related. Sometimes it’s hard to determine what came first. Is it insomnia causing your depression, or is it depression leading to insomnia? Now an extensive history taken by your physician can sometimes help determine if your insomnia came first. Taking an extensive history by your physician may help determine if your depression came first. Treating the underlying depression is needed to help treat your insomnia, because if you try treating the insomnia with the use of sleep aids or other techniques and you haven’t treated your depression, you will have a harder time treating your insomnia.

So there are chemical imbalances that are seen in depression which might be also contributing to insomnia at night. That’s why it is important to treat your depression before treating insomnia. So treating your depression in order to alleviate insomnia might include the use of medications such as antidepressants, but also talk therapy or seeing a psychologist, which may help avoid the use of medications and might help you learn to cope with your depression a little bit better without the use of medication.
